Data you create in the app
Nayia stores the content you create: mind-mapping sessions, themes, thoughts (text and audio), and personal settings such as your display name, profile picture, and preferences.
This data is kept exclusively on your devices via SwiftData and, if iCloud is enabled on your account, synchronized to your private iCloud database — accessible only by you.
On-device artificial intelligence
Nayia uses Apple Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence), built into iOS 26. All AI features — thought classification, summary generation, task extraction — run directly on your device, with no connection to an external server.
Your thoughts never leave your iPhone or iPad to be analyzed. Calipia has no access to any output produced by the AI.
System permissions requested
iOS asks for your explicit consent before enabling each permission. You can revoke any of them at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security.

Session sharing (optional)
If you choose to share a session with another person, Nayia creates a CloudKit share using your own iCloud account. The shared session is hosted on Apple's infrastructure — it is never transmitted to Calipia.
Sharing is initiated by generating a QR code that you deliberately hand to the recipient. You can revoke access at any time from the Collab tab.
What Nayia does not do
- Collect usage data or analytics
- Display advertising
- Share your data with third parties
- Send your thoughts to a Calipia server
- Use a cloud LLM to process your content
- Require account creation or sign-up
- Track your location or behavior
Your data, your control
You have full control over your data from the Settings tab in Nayia:
Deletion is irreversible and immediately erases all local data. iCloud synchronization follows the deletion rules of your Apple account.
Use by minors
Nayia does not collect any personal data, making it suitable for users of all ages. No specific age restriction is imposed. As no account is created and no data is transmitted, the specific provisions applicable to minors (GDPR Art. 8, COPPA) do not apply.
Updates to this policy
If future developments in Nayia were to involve a change in how your data is handled, this page would be updated and the current version of the app would notify users via App Store release notes.
